You just can’t dig up an Interstate Highway…or can you?!
You can in Nebraska! Both westbound lanes of I-80 were just gone! There was one lane each way on the former eastbound lanes! For about 40 miles!
We got a call today from Sarah saying that she had called U-Haul to verify her reservations for a truck and car carrier in Laramie. She made the reservations 3 weeks ago. U-Haul informed her that there were no trucks or car carriers in Laramie. There was a truck in Cheyenne, WY and a car trailer in Colorado Springs, CO. Seriously!? But, God is Good – we needed to go through Cheyenne on the way, so we could pick up the truck on the way to Laramie. The route to TX would take us through Colorado Springs, so all four of us could drive for a few hours then get the car carrier and go down to 3 drivers. All was OK!
When we arrived in Laramie, we went right to work loading the truck! It’s almost dark and 58 degrees! Yahoo!
